Embedded script

I was about to convert external scripts to embedded scripts when this question came up.

When I copy a rule with an embedded script, will that copy contain an indepent copy of the script? Or is it just a pointer?
Or put otherwise: when script of rule A is edited, will identical script of rule B change too?

It is an independent copy. There was a bug before where it was linked but it has since been fixed (though I think some people would prefer it to work that way).

Follow-up question: can I move an external script without breaking the link (which is what I was going to do, initially, before I thought of making it internal)?

Hazel should be able to track external scripts as they are moved around. That said, it is possible to somehow break the link. It's like an alias so if do something that would break an alias, it will break Hazel's linkage as well.
