Continue option not available

What are the rules for allowing "Continue matching rules" to be available? I have a rule like:
IF conditions are met
THEN run a shell script to rename
I'd like to run one more rule on the file after this, but the "Continue…" option is grayed out.

Rules which move the file elsewhere can't be continued since the file is no longer in its original spot. For the most part, that includes the Move and Sort into subfolder action. It should be selectable with just a shell script action. Are you sure you don't have other actions in there?

Okay, that makes sense, and I see what I did. I was using a temporary move to folder which obviously caused the continue option to not be available. Thanks for the explanation.
