Hi,

so after reading all the posts (i think) i still don't get how to implement what i want to happen in Hazel..

so..


I have a folder called "Completed Downloads

what i want Hazel to do is:

In my "Completed Downloads" folder
if there is a file with an extension of .mkv then move to the route folder (Completed Downloads folder)
at the moment some files download into their own sub folders but i want the MKV file to be stripped from the sub folder and placed in the completed folder.

i have other automations that take any mkv file that is placed in the Completed Downloads folder.

how do i make this happen please?

If you need to process files inside subfolders, read the sticky article at the top of this forum on that.
