I'm frustrated as I can't see why this doesn't work....
Trying to rename my adobe statements with a prefaced date string. I've extracted the pdf info using the hazel imported, and the text file starts:
Invoice
Adobe Systems Software Ireland Ltd
4-6 Riverwalk
Citywest Business Park Dublin 24
Invoice/Credit memo Invoice
Invoice Number: IEE2012065940
Invoice Date: 06/07/2012

an example file name is Adobe Invoice No. 0600382959.pdf

I have the following rules:

I've matched the file name as I've tried various matches in the file, such as 'Invoice, 'Adobe systems' etc.
Nothing matches :-(

It's hard to tell but is there a space between "Invoice date:" and your date attribute? Also, did you set the day and month in your pattern to match two digits? Also, check the preview and make sure the name part matches.

It was the space between invoice date and the date pattern.

Thanks - it can be a bit frustrating when you think you've tried al the options - a new pair of eyes often solves these things :-)
