Ok, so maybe a dumb question. I'm a new user of Hazel. Today when I booted up, I found "Hazel.prev.log" in my Trash. It was dated 28 November and is 20k. Is this normal? Thanks.

That's normal. Hazel rotates out old log files on a weekly basis and the old ones get thrown away eventually.
