Sort into subfolder using multiple tags Wed Dec 03, 2014 3:13 am • by Dave61
Hi

I have a number of files, each with several tags, for example: Client A, 2014, Jan. I would like to sort them into a subfolder structure along the lines of:

/ClientA
/2014
/Jan
/Feb

etc.

However, when I use sort into subfolder using tags I get:

/ClientA 2014 Jan
/ClientA 2014 Feb

and so on, i.e. the tags concatenated into a single subfolder name.

I realise that I could have rules at each level but I would like to this to be a one-off set-up that can handle the addition of a new client or a project name instead of the month tag without further intervention.

TIA, Dave

You'll probably need to setup multiple conditions each trying to match a particular tag. Then in the sort into subfolder pattern, you can use the right-pointing triangle to separate each folder level.
