Rules not working

I have been using Hazel for about a year successfully, but recently it has stopped moving my files as expected. I have looked over a new rule over and over and am sure it is correct in what I want and expect it to do. I have force the rules to run and the log tells me that it is running in the folder I've indicated. What's up? I just want Hazel to work the way it has in the recent past. I am using an iMac with the latest update to Yosemite. Thank you

Try going through the troubleshooting guide stickied at the top of the forum. Report back with the results of the diagnostics there.

So, I have turned on Debug Mode and setup an experiment to test whether my rules are running. Again, some are, some are not. Here is a link to a screen-capture showing the Rule, Folder, and Log. It simply states that yes, my test files matched the Rule and "Not executing actions." Link >>

That means the rules already ran for that file. Hazel doesn't repeatedly run the same actions if the file still matches the same rule. Did you move the files back in place after Hazel moved them?

My rules work when run manually but they don't run automatically when files are added anymore. The folder has a little yellow circle on it and is greyed out a bit when not directly selected.

Hovering over the folder should tell you what's wrong but I suspect something happened to the original folder Hazel is monitoring. I would export your rules for that folder, remove it from Hazel, add the folder back in, then import your rules back in. That said, if it's in a git repo, there's a good chance it will happen again since things tend to get shuffled around and nuked a lot.

Hovering over it just gives me the path. I've re-added that folder and recreated the rule from scratch before taking that screenshot too.

Does the folder have that yellow badge in Finder? Looking at it again, I don't think Hazel is adding it. It either greys it out or puts a red x on it, depending on the folder's invalid status.

It looks normal in finder, this exact setup used to work for me.

Actually, I found that the badge is in Hazel (it's been a while since I looked at that code). It happens when in demo mode and is used to indicate that Hazel is not monitoring folders beyond the first one. Is Hazel properly registered? If not, try dragging your license file in again, restart System Preferences and see if that fixes things.

I thought I had perviously tried reinstalling it, but that seemed to do the trick today. Just downloaded from the site and dragged license in again, good to go.
Thanks, you have always been helpful in the past and fast to respond!
