Searched around a bit but could not find anything definitive. Here is the scenario:
1) need Hazel to monitor a parent folder
2) when new subfolders are created and populated with images, I need Hazel to move the folder and its contents to new location on hard disk, whose parent folder is the same as the current parent folder
Issues:
1) need rule to create new, duplicated parent folder on another drive.
- I tried to solve this with an Automator script, but the script would not allow me to use the current folder name as input as a token to be used to create a new folder.
2) need rule to monitor subfolders starting with text "Export -"
- not sure how Automator or Hazel can determine when subfolder file content creation is complete, since it know nothing of what is being added to the subfolder
3) at some point in workflow, Hazel should move the folder and its contents to the new parent folder created in step #1.
Is this workflow scenario possible with Hazel and Automator?
