Trouble creating rule to match files

I am scanning old bank statements and creating pdf files. I want a Hazel rule to see these files in my "action folder," rename them and move them.

But I'm stumped. Every rule I've created fails to find a match with the files.

I haven't had this problem with other files, so I suspect it has something to do with the way the bank statements are formatted.

Any ideas?

I think -- fingers crossed -- I've solved my problem. I was attempting to pick up the name of my bank, the account number (so as to distinguish between savings and checking accounts), and the date. I wanted to use this info to rename and move the downloaded pdf from my "action folder" to my "bank statements" folder.

For some reason, just typing items to the "contents contain" rule didn't work. But when I selected the bank name and account number in the pdf file and did a copy and paste it worked and Hazel could "see" the file. I finally got the date to work using "contents contain match."

Let's hope it keeps working.

"Contents contain" relies on Spotlight while "Contents contain match" actually scans the files contents directly. The latter is more reliable at the cost of some performance.
