License usage after system upgrade

I have purchased the single user Hazel 3 license ($28). I recently upgraded the hard drive in my Mac to an SSD and installed a new OS X image. The rest of the machine is the same, but the hard drive and OS installation are new. When I installed Hazel, I had to use my license file to register.

Does this count against me in any way for licensing? I want to be sure that I have not used two licenses for 1 machine.

Also, if any updated guidance is available to migrate the rules over, it would be helpful. I found this old post, but the steps recommended here did not work for me.

Thanks

The license is not tied to any machine so just license the new installation as usual.

As for migration, it might be the case that since you changed drives, all the aliases to folders are failing. In that case, you'll need to re-create the list of folders. You can then import your rules, either from an export or using the .hazelrules files in the application support folder in that article you referenced.
