I have a bunch of files that are named something like "Parcel 34 xxxxxxx.doc". The numbers change all the time and new ones are added constantly, and I would like to have Hazel sort the files into subfolders containing the number. I.e. Parcel 34.doc gets put into a Folder called Parcel 34.

I guess this is similar to what you can do with the Date Match feature.

Is this possible at all?

Yup. Search the help for "match patterns". It works like the date matching but for arbitrary text.
