Sub-folder hierarchy? [newbie] Tue Jul 01, 2008 8:23 pm • by eN0ch
Hi again,

I want to use the "sort file into subfolder" feature, but was hoping this would (or could) produce a nested hierarchy - as distinct from a single folder. e.g. I want to be able to file some of my data in a hierarchy of year / month folders ...
2007
    January
    February
    March
    etc...
2008
    January
    February
    etc...

But as far as I can tell, Hazel only provides for single folders (2008-Jan; 2008-Feb; etc). Is that right? Or will it do what I was hoping for? If so, how?

Or if not, could I make this a feature request?

Thanks.

In the list of tokens, you should see one with a triangle pointing to the right. That is used to indicate a subfolder. Try that out and see if it works for you.
