Is it possible to upload screenshots to the Forums? I must be missing something or am particularly dim as I can not find a way to do it

Try using a third party service. If you aren't already using something like Cloudapp or Ember, you can try something like Imgur

Thanks for your reply. It is just that in other, (most?) Forums, (e.g. DevonThinks, Aeon Timeline) there is a facility normally entitled “Upload Attachment”. Can I suggest that this facility is added to this Forum? I think it would be a great addition to the usefulness.

I don't do it since it can become a headache with spammers. Especially with so many free services out there that can host files, I feel that not having to police that aspect of the site frees me up for more productive things.
