Show a list of files that meet a criteria Thu May 15, 2014 5:50 pm • by chambrick
I'm just getting started with this wonderful product and am hopeful it will meet my needs.

One of the things I need to do is go through a folder structure and create a list of files whose video-bit rate is below a threshold--say 100.

1. I see I can Reveal in Finder and I see the rule matched while watching the log, but there's no open Finder window showing the list. What did I do wrong?

2. Once this rule processes the folder does it stop or keep processing
- only when folder contents change?
- should I pause it to not have it process then until I want it to?

I added the action to set the color label to a color, and now the Finder window comes up and shows a list of folders with a color "label" next to it that has files that match the criteria.

So it's working for now and as I'm new enough at this and am doing some testing I see no need for you to respond.

Well just realized it colored the folder because I didn't add that to the criteria (that it's not a folder).

...learning.
