Hazel seems to cause memory leak in coreservicesd

Hello,

running Hazel 3.2.7 on my OS X 10.7.5 iMac causes the coreservicesd process to continually consume system memory.

I traced this in Activity monitor. When Hazel runs, the physical memory usage of coreservicesd increases by approx. 0,1 MB every 10 to 30 seconds.

When I stop Hazel, the coreservicesd memory consumption then remains constant.
When I then start Hazel, coreservicesd continues to use up memory as described above.

What to do?

Thanks,

Stefan

When it happens, try the following:

- Launch Activity Monitor. Find the process in question. Note its PID.
- Do "Sample Process" and send me the output.
- In Hazel's "Info" section, click on "View Log"
- In the search field, enter "[XXXX]" where XXXX is the PID noted earlier. Send me that output.

I suspect it's using a lot of resources because you are having Hazel do a lot. There might even be an infinite loop in your rules which the above will hopefully uncover.
