Coordinates using . instead of , Thu May 01, 2014 7:01 am • by yendi
Hi all,

I follow a tutorial to use Hazel to sort my pictures.
In my workflow I rename the files using coordinates in the filename to something like this:
2014-01-27 - 16h20 - (43,703 7,324)

However when I copy this coordinates to google maps, it does not pop anywhere, as it use dot instead of coma.

Is the a way to have coordinates like this?
I tried the option "replace text" with as parameters:
Code: Select all
, replaced by .
However it does not work
2014-01-27 - 16h20 - (43.703 7.324)

Thank you!

Can you post more details like the actual rule? Also, is that last example the actual result or what you want to happen, because it looks correct to me.

Here is my rule:
http://cl.ly/image/3D3x2Z1e1s3E
Here is the output:
2014-05-01 - 16h21 - (43,571 7,044)
However I would like the coordinates be like this:
2014-05-01 - 16h21 - (43.571 7.044)

How do I force "." instead of "," ?

Thanks
yendi

Where do you have the "replace text" set? Can you email the rule to support?
