Hazel not working--hazelhelper process

Whenever I reboot, hazel doesn't want to work. The hazelhelper process is running, but I get the [METRICS] could not connect to scheduler message in the log. Quitting hazelhelper and then restarting it via the hazel gui seems to fix the problem. Any ideas? I'm running v3.2.7.

Is it possible you have Hazel installed twice? Check the following locations:

- At the top level of your drive, /Library/PreferencePanes
- In your home folder, Library/PreferencePanes

There should be a Hazel.prefPane in only one of those places. If it's in both, I suggest removing the one at the top level and rebooting. See if that clears things up.

It's only installed in the top level folder.

Any other ideas?

Check the logs and see if there are any errors, especially from HazelHelper on startup.
