Hello,

I made the mistake of migrating a user from my old Mac to my new one after I had already created another user on it. So now I have two users with data on them. I am hoping to use Hazel to combine these two accounts without creating more duplicates by keeping the more recent of the two files. I fear that Hazel will copy over duplicate files because they are organized differently on both users. Is there a way for Hazel to verify if the duplicate exists before moving a file over even if it's in a different folder? If not, do you have any recommendations?

Thanks!

If this is just a one time operation, then I'm not sure Hazel is the best way to handle it. I'm not sure if there's a specialized tool for this but I feel like this is better done with something more interactive.
