Can hazel match a series of dates. For example my statement is January 1-31,2014

I have tried to set up the following:

Reporting Period: month day - day, year

Hazel can match any pattern. Just use the custom matching pattern to match the above. Do you need to rename or just match the statement period and do something? Given the unusual date scheme, you may have to create 12 rules to match each period. Depends onwhat you are trying to do.

Have another problem with date matched I have set up a rule on Contents:contain match in this date format 12/31/99.

All is good, Hazel finds the file, then I have it do the following

Rename:with pattern Date Matched 12/31/99
Add a yellow tag
Run an apple script tell application "Evernote"
activate (create note from file theFile notebook {"LG&E Statements"})
end tell
Then move it to trash.

I get a notification the rename in the correct format 12/31/99

but the 2nd notification I get is filed moved to Evernote via apple script but it gets renamed in the format 12:31:99

almost as thou its in a time format

any Idea what is going on?

I've already replied via email. In the future, please only use one method or the other (email or forums) so I don't have to end up typing out answers twice.
