I cannot get Sync to work. I am trying to Sync my Pictures folder to a Drobo on my home network. The Drobo is formatted as Mac extended journaled. Please help, this is so frustrating.

Can you post details about the folder layout as well as the rules you are using?

The first folder is the standard Mac Pictures folder with a Aperture library and a few other sub-folders. The target folder called Master pictures and is on a my home network connected to another computer via a Drobo. I have no trouble copying files manually.

I simplified the rule just to get things working first. I know this rule is no good, but I just want it to work first before using your folder sync rule in the forums.

If Any File
Do the following... Sync into folder Master pictures.

The file permissions on the Drobo are set to ignore ownership. I also tried to set "everyone" with read/write permission and got the same result.

For the kicks of it, I installed Chronosync and that works fine. I think both programs use rsync as the backbone.

You understand that just using "any file" will only run the sync once? You may want to check this thread on more details on how to do sync when, for example, anything is modified: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1593&p=6500&hilit=sync+rule#p6500

Is that the full log? It refers to an error but I'm not seeing it there which makes me think it's filtered.
