Main folder getting deleted

So currently I have a rule that will look through the subfolders and find if there are any mp3 files, if not it will delete the folder. (I am moving these mp3's to a different folder to get sorted)

The hierarchy is this:

Code: Select all: Main Folder -album -mp3 -album2

The problem is when it is the last album folder and it gets deleted, it also deletes the main folder which I do not want it to do. How I can stop the rule from deleting the main folder? It is getting deleted because it has nothing else in the folder.

Can't say without seeing your rules. Can you post them here?

Is the main folder underneath _Music? Is there a reason why you don't monitor that folder instead then of _Music?

Sorry should of clarified, the main folder in this case is "_Music"

I don't see how Hazel would be deleting the main folder if it is monitoring it. It should only process files inside the main folder. Can you check the logs and post the log message showing that it is being deleted?

It's really odd. Sometimes it will get deleted, sometimes it will not. I just tried like 5 mins ago, and it got deleted, and then tried again and doesn't get deleted.

The only log I see odd was when it did get deleted

Are you sure there isn't some other program deleting it? Hazel would clearly log that if it was the one doing it. Also, try logging out and back in to see if that gets rid of the checking in message.
