Rules stopped working

Hi there,

I don't know when this happened but my rules just stopped working. I believe it was after a recent update. I have tried logging in/out. I even re-installed the app.

Only thing I see in log that looks problematic is:

2013-12-02 15:20:00.148 HazelHelper[666] Worker process for folder /Volumes/Data/Converted Movies did not check in.

Thanks for your help,

Never mind. I randomly deleted a couple files from the folder that was having issues and boom!! Everything works again. Who knows?

It might be the result of a known issue where the worker will crash if a disk is missing its trash folder. If it happens again and it's urgent, email support and I can send you a link to a test build which fixes it.

what is the status of this beta? Since the last update/upgrade my rules have stopped working.

I primarily use hazel for video encoding workflow adding video to iTunes.

Prior to the update hazel was processing my work flow with out a problem, not now.

Can you provide any assistance?

I'll need more evidence as I can't say whether this is affecting you or not. Can you post relevant logs?

I can confirm the same problem; "worker process for folder (xxxxx) did not check in". I can also confirm from the crashlog that hazelworker is crashing at each run.

This started with the latest update last week. Starting and stopping Hazel doesn't work, nor does rebooting the machine.

My hardware/software setup is:
MacMini 2,1
OSX 10.7.5
Hazel 3.2.2 (build 1063)

Any suggestions?

The best thing to do would be to contact support as indicated earlier. I do have a test build here that should fix the problem, or alternatively, if you can use the commandline, I can give you instructions on how to work around it.
