Sync iTunes Library with another Mac. Sun Dec 01, 2013 2:27 pm • by dale
Hi,

I have a master iTunes library and a separate music server that I wan't to keep in-sync with the master library. I was glad to find the added Sync functionality Hazel 3.0, but I've run into some issues getting it function correctly. I've created a very simple rule that's supposed to run once a day, and that seems to be working nicely but during the actual syncing process the "iTunes Media" folder that holds all the actual music files fails each time.

Here's the DEBUG output from today's sync.

Code: Select all
== End sync output ==

Has anyone attempted a similar setup or have any guidance to give to get this working.

Oh, I have made sure iTunes is shutdown on both machines before the rule is run.

Turn on debug mode as described in the sticky article near the top of the page and check the logs again after that.
