How to rename file from OCR content

Hi

I'm wanting to scan a lot of paper documents soon with my scansnap manager software.

I intend to scan them to PDF's that have been OCR'd.

What I'd like Hazel to do is to be able to take the top line of text in the scanned pdfs and use that to rename the file.

is there a way to do this?

You could try using "Contents contain match (•first line)" where •first line matches "anything". Since "anything" doesn't go across line separators, it should match the first line in this case. That said, the way the OCR writes out the text, what it considers a line may not be what you would so keep that in mind when trying something like this.

Ok, Thanks.
I'll have a play around with that option and see how it goes.
