Monitor whether network disk is mounted or not? Fri Dec 28, 2007 5:24 am • by FOOOD
I'm wondering if it's somehow possible for Hazel to monitor if a network disk (or share) is mounted or not, & if it's not mounted mount it?

On my MacBook Pro I'll often close the lid & move it to another location (still within the same network) & my network disk & shares from another Mac will disconnect.
So when I open up the lid I have to reconnect them.

It would be really handy if they were monitored & if found to be disconnected automatically reconnect.

I'd have to think about it. My sense is that most people would be annoyed or confused by Hazel trying to mount disks every time it wanted to access it. You might want to look at Network Location as it can do stuff like this based on location. Not sure if this is exactly what you mean but it's another option.

Thanks, I'll take a look at Network Location.
