Would it be possible for a future version of Hazel to include the ability to have a descriptive name for the Folder.

I have several folders which will need watching but they have similar names (and located at different places). But a description (or even reference to their locations) it can be hard to remember details).

You can create aliases for the folders and then have Hazel monitor those. Is that doable in your situation?

Thank you for the suggestion.

But it does not work in the way I intended.

eg.

    1. I have a folder "notes" in a dropbox
    2. create a alias for it.
    3. move alias to another folder (e.g. Documents)
    4. rename alias to something more descriptive (e.g. "notes - located in Dropbox").
    5. add folder "notes - located in Dropbox"
    6. Hazel displays folder as "notes".

Is this what is supposed to happen?

No. It should retain the name of the alias. I'll look into it.
