Hi,

I have the following rules set up:





and for some reason they don't work with some of the files:



I'm puzzled as to why having done nothing (to my knowledge) to those files (I'm assuming they've been 'matched' but I don't even know what that means...). Any ideas?

Also, I'm trying to make it so that if a tag/color label is found on one of the files it gets deleted. I tried adding that before the 'rename' action but it didn't work. How would I add that to the rules? Or should I create a new one?

I'm using Mavericks so maybe that could be a part of this whole thing?

Read the sticky article on sub-folders above as it seems you are mixing up two different types of rules. You need to separate out rules that match folders with rules that match files.
