Sync error status 23

I have Sync rules that previously worked that have stopped working. I do not know how to troubleshoot

Here's the error message:

Here's the hazel rule:

Name: Sync scan folder to Dropbox via BoxCryptor

<Kind> <is> <Folder>
If <any> of the following conditions are met for <the current file or folder>
<Date Last Modified> <is after> <Date Last Matched>
If <all> of the following conditions are met for <any of its subfiles or subfolders>
<Date Last Modified> <is after> <Date Last Matched>
Do the following to the matched file or folder:
<Sync> into folder <Files Backup - BoxCryptor>
<Sync> into folder <Files Backup - Ellie 2>

Any guidance?

Can you try enabling debug mode (see the sticky article above) and posting the results?

here are the debug results. I did delete some of the file names... much longer list exists than what I include below. I triggered the rule by adding the file SecondTestFileForHazelDebugging.rtf to one of the folders Hazel is watching. In this case, this file was copied to the first folder in the rule (Files Backup - BoxCryptor), but did not get copied to the second folder (Files Backup - Ellie 2)

It appears there are some extended attributes that might not be supported at the destination. In this case, it looks like the quarantine flag. You can try opening the file to see if that clears that flag. Maybe things will work after that.

I appreciate the response, but that is meaningless to me

I have no idea what a quarantine flag is. All of these files open fine. The problem now occurs consistently with any file that gets moved to one of the subfolders being watched.

I guess I will keep poking around and hope that I stumble on a solution.

When you download a file, the quarantine flag gets set. It won't get removed until you open the file (at which point you will get an alert warning you that the file was downloaded from the internet). Until you open it, that flag will remain there and cause a problem with sync in your case since it appears your destination folder does not support that flag.
