Remove "| " from file names

I thought I came up with a great naming convention for files using the | symbol (e.g. 2013-08-08 | DC | Notice of Trial Date.pdf). Unfortunately, I have found when using "sync" to sync contents of folders with another folder (that is in turn synced with FileShare), FileShare changes the | to a - and then Hazel sends another version of the file over. Is there an easy way to have Hazel go through ALL of the files in the main folder & subfolders and simply remove the "| " from the file names? (Each file name has 2 sets of "| " that need to be deleted.

If you use the rename action, you can click on the (name) attribute and select "Replace text...". That will allow you to replace the "|" with the character of your choice.

As for going into subfolders, check out the sticky article at the top of this forum.
