Newbie Question: Move Folder...

Hi there,

I just installed Hazle and fumbled around with the possibilties, a really great tool!

Here is my workflow I want to improve:

- Import different folder with images from an external drive or an sd-card, viewing them and drop the crap
- Rename the imported folders (pattern "YYYY-MM-DD Topic" and move all folders to a folder named "workflow"

Now here is the point where Hazel should start working:

1. Rename all images with pattern "Source Folder (#).extension" => this is working
2. After that move all folders (with the renamed images) to another folder = and this is my problem, it doesn't work!

I've already checked the sticky post "How to get Hazel to go into subfolders ", and created the important first rule exactly and separate. I think that's the reason why the second rule "Renaming the images" is working.

But the rule for moving all the subfolders to it's destination doesn't work...

My setting for this rule:

If ALL of the following conditions are met for THE FILE OR FOLDER BEEING MATCHED"

=> KIND is FOLDER

=> MOVE to folder DESTINATION

Nothing happens...

I just want to move ALL subfolders to the destination...

What did I wrong?

Is that rule in addition to the other one which matches folders? Only the first rule to match is executed so you need to (a) change this rule to distinguish it from the other one which matches folders and (b) re-order the rules.

Also, you need to have some way of indicating that the folder is ready to be moved or Hazel may end up moving the folders before the files within them are renamed, depending on how you have the rules structured.
