External HD Syncing Query

Hello,

Purchased Hazel recently and loving it so far although have something I would love to be able to do but have yet to work out how to do. If anyone could help with the following, or direct me to a post which helps explain it would be appreciated

I have a TV Shows collection on an external HD that I have until recently been manually copying to whenever I get new show on my Mac, but think this would be an ideal place for Hazel to come in.

Essentially I have mirrored the Folder structure on both Mac and HD to be somehting like the following

MAC : Documents/TV Shows/Name of Show/Season #/Episode.avi
HD : /Volumes/HDD/Video/TV Shows/Name of Show/Season #/Episode.avi

and I what I would like to do is when /Volumes/HDD is discovered a)search in each subfolder of TV Shows directory and compare to Mac equivalent b)If there is something on Mac copy this to respective folder on HDD c)if a new folder appears either in TV Shows or TV Shows/Name of Show then copy this across as well.

I am unsure if this is what sync will do for me and if so I can't quite work out how to get it all to piece together. I have created a dummy folder in my HDD called test/TV Shows/etc etc to test as I am worried about copying over stuff.

If anyone can have a look at the above and suggest some rules to do what I want that would be awesome!

Thanks
Doni

Sync should be able to do that. I suggest checking out my post here (which includes a downloadable rule): http://www.noodlesoft.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1593&p=6500&hilit=sync+rule#p6500

Make sure to understand what the rule does otherwise you'll be lost if it doesn't do what you expect.
