renaming file with a number

I would like to use Hazel to rename my monthly receipts and if the file already exist for that month add the number 2 or 3 to the file name.
For example if I make 2 payment to my credit card that month I would like to have "jan CC.pdf" and if there is a second payment for that month I would like to have "jan cc2.pdf" and have hazel add that number but only if there is a second payment for that month. The following month this would be repeated for example "feb cc.pdf" and "feb cc2.pdf"

Can Hazel do this?

First off, please do not post questions to the Tips forum (there's a sticky at the top telling you not to do this).

If a file already exists and you move/copy a file with the same name into the folder, by default, Hazel will append a number at the end. If you click on the move/copy options, you can see that you can set it to either rename or replace ("rename" meaning add a number at the end).
