Backup management

Hi.

I use Adobe Lightroom extensively and have it set up to make weekly backups of it's catalogue. Each backup creates a single folder inside the main backups folder. However, the backups folder can grow unnecessarily large over time and I have to delete some of the older ones.

How would I go about creating a Hazel rule that preserves the latest 10 (or 15, or 20,...) backups and deletes the rest?
If it isn't possible I'll just create a rule that deletes older than x months backups, but I would prefer to use a rule described in the question above.

How about using "Date created is not in the top 5, move to trash" ?

I'm afraid I don't know what you mean by "in the top 5".

Right now, I'm using "If date created is not in the last 6 months, move to trash", but in this case the number of backups kept may vary because the backups are sometimes fairly irregular.

Again, if it's not possible to do it in a way I described it in the initial post, no problem. I just thought I'd ask before putting the whole thing to rest, so to speak.

Sorry, I meant "is among the X most recent". Just go through the available options and you'll find it.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.

And thank you, I found the rule and it's working.
