Hazel rule not triggering on mounted drive
Posted: Wed Apr 08, 2026 5:16 amHi, I’m using Hazel to organize files on an external SSD, but I noticed that some rules don’t trigger when the drive is mounted after startup. The folder is added to Hazel and permissions seem fine, but it only works if I manually reselect the folder in settings. Is there a way to make Hazel automatically recognize and run rules on external drives right after they are connected?
