Rule execution order with multiple conditions

Hi Hazel community,
I’m trying to create a series of rules that organize my files based on multiple conditions (like file type, creation date, and folder location). I noticed that sometimes a file seems to be processed by a rule I didn’t expect.
Can someone explain how Hazel determines the execution order when multiple rules match a file? Is it strictly top-to-bottom in the rules list, or does Hazel have another method for prioritizing rules with overlapping conditions?

Thanks

The first rule to match is the one that gets executed. In the manual, there's a chapter called "Understand the Logic of Rules" which explains everything. Also, the rule status function should help in this regard.
