I use Hazel to organize financial reports. I look in the pdf for the date range covered and rename the report with the date range. I would prefer to make it so that if the date range is YYYY-01-01 to YYYY-03-31 that it renames it YYYY-Q1, and if the date range is YYYY-04-01 to YYYY-06-30 that it renames it YYYY-Q2, and so on. I could do this with 4 different rules but I want to do it with one rule but don't see where conditional renaming is possible. Can someone show me how to do this? I am running Hazel 6.0.4. In the Rename action, you can drag a date into the pattern. After that, if you click on it you'll see an option to edit its format. There's an option for the quarter there which you can use.
