Backup Rules Tue Feb 04, 2025 8:40 pm • by tmuse
I have quite a few rules for the Downloads folder. I have my rules sync'd to my iCloud and am in the process of slowly moving to a new Mac. Some, quite a few, rules are inactive but I would like to keep them. On the new computer all my rules show up but none are active. I think I would have to go one by one to turn on the ones I currently use. Looking for an easier way. I was thinking if I could archive/backup the inactive rules and then delete them, the sync'd rules would all be the active ones on the new computer. Is there a way to archive the inactive rules?

When syncing or importing rules, all rules are disabled for security reasons. You will need to activate them as needed. You can command-click on the checkbox to toggle all of the rules at once.
