I try to use the build-in OCR of Hazel to analyse my documents.

When i OCR the document with Devonthink my rules work as expected (simple, just looking for a specific text), but without having the document ocr'ed before, it does not work.

Is the ocr-engine that bad?

Can you post an example? How does the text look in Hazel's preview?

Well, Hazel does only recognise the bottom part of the pdf. Scanning an ocred file does work perfectly.

How can i attach images?

You can use imgur.com if you don't already have a cloud/file sharing service.
