Failed to extract update

Hi,
on Sonoma - hazel v5 - check for updates and got error
Failed to extract update.
I just bought v6... what is the error for and how do I best upgrade from v5 to v6

Same here. I will buy the upgrade for sure. But I will wait until chief noodles has checked the issue (don't want to destroy my rule set)

Same here I got the download then it gave me the same error. I'm also getting a pop up every few seconds stating Hazel has been stopped. I took of all but 3 rules that I know work in case it was a conflict of interest type thing but no, it's still happening.

While this is a bug, even if fixed, you should not be able to download major updates via the in-app updater. Since it requires payment, you need to download and install the update manually.
