Hi,
with Hazel i wanted to create an auto-downloader for an SFTP-server (Picdrop), which downloads every file, when a file appears onto the SFTP-server.
Therefore i used Mountain Duck first to create a volume from a SFTP-server.
Then i wanted to use Hazel to move the files automatically from the SFTP-server to my computer.
On an older Mac with macOS 14.6.1 this setup worked flawless.
Now, on my new M3 MacBook Air with macOS 15.0 there seems to be a problem with the move command.
Everytime a file should have been moved, it appers for a short moment in the targetfilder (also rule works), before it disappeared again after some milliseconds. Then, the file onto the SFTP-server doesn't disappear too (because it should have been moved).
I use the same rules as onto my old computer.
Out of desperation, I tried to recreate the rules again, but that didn't help either, as the result was the same.
Rule Status shows this:
less than a minute ago: "IMG_5324.jpeg" couldn't be moved to the trash because the volume "Picdrop" doesn't have one.
What I noticed is that when I manually delete a file on the SFTP server from the Mac, the operating system asks me if I really want to delete the file. I'm not sure if this was the case on my old system as well.
What can be the problem?
