Add Comment based on Metatags

Is there a way to copy the Metatags into the Spotlight comments for every file in a folder?

e.g. for each file in a folder, copy the Metatag values and paste them into that file's Spotlight comments field.

Thank you.

Which metatags are you referring to? In general, you can add any Spotlight attribute as a comment. Just drag the "other..." token into the pattern and select the Spotlight attribute you want.

I apologize for being so vague.

I've assigned metatags to hundreds of files over the past year or so using a feature in DefaultFolder.

I want to copy the values of these metatags and paste them as text in the Spotlight comments area for each file.

I know I could this individually but I was wondering if there was a way for Hazel to do this automatically using a custom rule.

Thanks.

Are you referring to DefaultFolderX? I believe it uses OpenMeta, which means you just mean "tags". As I mentioned before, if the tags show up in the Spotlight attribute list, you can use those to enter them into the comments.
