Run Shortcut action documentation?

Is there any documentation on what the Run shortcut action does? Do any parameters get passed to the shortcut? I used Shortcuts "Get text from Shortcut Input" action and then used the "Show Text" action and seemed to get the full text of the PDF. I'm trying to find out if I can use Hazel to extract variables from the PDF (which I have already done like "paid date") and pass that variable to the shortcut. Then in the Shortcut I want to use the Numbers "Add Row to Top or Bottom of Table" to insert the values I got from Hazel into the columns of the spreadsheet. Any details would be appreciated.

Only the file path is passed in. You cannot pass in any other variables. You can do that with AppleScript though.
