Duplicate file in original folder and archive?

I want to automatically ZIP .FCPXMLD files (from Final Cut Pro) but without deleting the original. I haven't found a way. I don't see a way to duplicate a file in its original folder (options are only Enclosing and Monitored folders). As there's a strict folder structure, I need to keep the original FCPXMD file and its ZIP in the same folder.

Please advise.

You'll need to copy it elsewhere then move the archived result back.
