Google Drive Trash

I have Hazel syncing a file to google drive and replacing the file every time it is changed in another location. The previous version always goes to the google drive trash and because it is large is taking up my storage. Can I replace the file in google drive without the old one going to trash, or can i delete from google drive using Hazel? (I am using the google drive sync app). Thanks!

Hazel does not delete files outright unless it is already in the trash. If your trash is getting big, you can set a limit on the size of the trash in Hazel's trash options and set it to immediately delete files that are too big.
