I'll consider it but it's probably not very likely. People setting it to something too low would cause resource issues. Is 1 minute really too long?

Is the only way to make sure a file is finished to check if it has been modified the last x minutes? You dont have a way to check a file in use Mr. Noodle?

Hazel does check using various mechanisms but it requires that the app that is using the file follow common methods that provide some sort of indicator. Some don't. This is especially common with cross-platform apps.
