Sync into Folder Question Fri Jun 15, 2012 6:05 am • by flynn
Hello,
I have a little question about the sync command. When I sync from one folder to another, does it just copy in new files, or does it copy the whole folder again and deletes the old one? Because I want to keep all my unwatched series on my computer, and my watched series on my hard drive. The problem is I have about 160gb of movies and syncing the whole movies folder every time would take a long time. And I don't want to have to use an applescript to recreate the whole structure of my movies folder inside my hard drive and determine file by file which one has to be moved or not, and I don't want to set up individual rules for different subfolders of my movies folder that do the same action.

thanks

It'll only sync changes from the source to the target folder - it won't copy the entire folder each time.
