How to duplicate file into same folder?

Hello. I would like to know how to duplicate a file into the same folder as the current file. If you choose "copy to enclosing folder", it goes one level above the current file's folder.

I need to duplicate a file and change the extension of the duplicate, and I also need to replace the new file if it already exists. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

There's no direct way to do it now but you can copy the file somewhere else then move it back to get the same effect.

I thought of that, but I don't know how to move it back to the same folder that it was in. Could you tell me how to do that? Thanks.

If it's just the monitored folder, that's a fixed folder that you can pick in the open dialog. If it's underneath the monitored folder, you'd then need to do a "Sort into Subfolder" action. In the pattern you can use the "source folder" attribute. Search the help as it has more information on how to use it.

Thank you. I was able to get it to work by first copying it to "enclosing folder" and then sorting into subfolder with the source folder pattern.
