File name not matching due to full stop Fri Dec 01, 2023 9:26 pm • by mfubib
Hi,

I'm new to Hazel, so please excuse any silly questions.

I'm trying to find folder names that contain this string so that I can remove it:

[FLAC] [16B-44.1kHz]

However, the rule isn't matching as Hazel cannot see the text after the full stop.

I looked into using the 'matches' option, but it runs into the same issue.

What's the best way forward?

Anything after a . is considered the extension. Try using "Full name" instead of "Name".
