I'm aware of that, but what I'm confused by is how Hazel would know if the file count has decreased. As far as I can see the only options are:

File count has changed
Count is greater/less than a specific number

I'd like to create a condition that determines if the number has decreased. Perhaps that's not possible, but it seems an oversight if not.

You can use "has changed". "has decreased" is not there as no one has stated any desire or need for it so far.

Finally, an answer!

"Has changed" will also trigger when files are added and the number has increased. That's no good, so I'll have to keep triggering it manually instead. Thanks.
