Code: Select all
macOS 13.2.1 (22D68)
Hazel 5.2

Since a few days the function "AppSweep" does not work anymore. I think it's the latest Ventra update.
Code: Select all

It looks like a rights or access problem to me. I don't know how to fix it under Ventura. :-/

Hazel has full hard drive access.

I just had a an AppSweep problem yesterday. In my case, Hazel reported a problem with files in the Library folder.

When I went to the Library folder to remove the files by hand, they weren't there! They were already in the trash.

I didn't save the details of the problem, but I'm running Hazel 5.1.1 and Ventura 13.2.1.

Can you check Full Disk Access and make sure any Hazel programs (there's a chance some of the helpers leaked out into that list) are enabled? Also, have you rebooted since giving access?

@margaretamartin I highly recommend updating to 5.2. Note that the in-app updater may be broken in which case I suggest downloading and installing the update manually.

I'm having the same problem -- what are the relevant helpers that I should add to the Full Disk Access list? Thanks!

Anything with Hazel in the name.
